David Wenham will be presenting a tribute to a Cure Our Kids patient at the Dance of the Sea (Bel de la Mer) charity dinner/dance on May 11th. For more information, see the event site. In other youth-related news, the Sunday Telegraph reports that David recently attended a charity event hosted by the Sydney Swans (his favorite football team) coach Paul Roo. The event, Star Party, was a fundraiser for the Starlight Children's Foundation.

Blanchett Participates in Sydney Earth Hour

Cate Blanchett participated in and promoted the World Wildlife Fund's Sydney Earth Hour on March 31st. The initiative aims to reduce Sydney's greenhouse gas emissions. Cate says, "It's an hour of active, thoughtful darkness, a celebration of our awakening to climate change action." Approximately 65,000 households and 2,000 businesses participated by switching off lights and appliances.
