All proceeds will go to the charity.
Sean Connery summed it up, "This is a calendar for everyone to enjoy. Well known Scots celebrating our Scottish icon, the Kilt, in style, to raise funds for One City Trust, Edinburgh's leading social inclusion charity. It is a timely reminder in the year of Homecoming Scotland of the talent Scotland has to offer." Boyd was quite happy to participate, "As a true Scotsman, I love to wear a kilt. Wherever I go in the world, I have a better time with my kilt on." "One Can Make a Difference" Includes Sean Astin StoryOrlando Bloom Donates Signed Shirt for Charity Orlando Bloom, along with other British celebrities and "royalty, landed gentry and other prestigious people," donated for a "society boot sale" to raise funds for Britain's NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children). The unusual fashion event took place literally on a runway, at a disused airfield in rural Gloucestershire and the clothes were sold out of the boots (trunks) of some rather pricey cars. "The Country House Car Boot Sale" - billed as the UK's "poshest" included a helipad for anyone wishing to drop in - hopes to make over $50.000.

According to the website, "Funds raised by UNICEF's Soccer Aid 2008 will go towards the main areas of UNICEF's work - health, education, nutrition, water, HIV and AIDS and protection for vulnerable children."
Traveling along with UNICEF UK Media Officer, Shima Islam, and a film crew, their mission was to find out how clean water can be brought to villages in Nepal. Bloom even helped out carrying some of the water back to one village! In the Soccer Aid game at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, September 7, "England vs. The Rest of the World," England won 4-3.
